That new M!KA microphone stand – What a winner! Elegant. Understated. German engineered. Like its more sophisticated big brothers, yet somehow… minimalist. But there’s one thing that could make it even better: a built-in headphone amp. Because everyone in broadcasting or podcasting with a microphone also needs headphones.

Then we added one of our magnetic disconnectors to prevent disaster when someone inevitably walks away with their headphones still connected. Next, we gave it microphone controls for consoles with logic, and a muting circuit so consoles without logic could use it too. And since we’re fans of that M!KA stand with the built-in tally LED, we even included circuitry to light it up.

Assembly? A five-minute job—at least half of that for sipping coffee. Remove two screws, lift off the arm, place our base on top of the existing one, and reattach the arm with the included new screws. We even throw in the tool. You’ll be smiling the whole time.

And once it’s together? Your talent and guests will be amazed. The M!KA mic stand just got even more adorable—and more useful too. Now, everything talent needs is right in front of them: the mic, the headphone amp, the mic controls, and the tally driver.

Turns out, it really is all about that base.
