Overview

The Headphone Gizmo is a broadcast-grade headphone amplifier for radio and podcast studios. It accepts balanced stereo audio via RJ45 (StudioHub+ format) and delivers 1.4W per channel into 16Ω loads. Mounts to the underside of a desk or countertop. A daisy-chain RJ45 output passes audio and power to the next device, supporting multiple positions from a single input.

Key Features

  • Drives high and low impedance headphones equally well — no compromises
  • Both 1/4″ (6.3mm) and 1/8″ (3.5mm) headphone jacks (mutually exclusive)
  • Mounts to the underside of a desk or countertop surface
  • Daisy-chain RJ45 output for feeding multiple Gizmos or other StudioHub+ devices
  • Available with local volume control (991030) or fixed gain
  • Powered by included wall adapter or StudioHub+ power inserter via RJ45

Connectivity Notes

The Headphone Gizmo uses the StudioHub+ RJ45 pinout for both audio and power. Adapters are available for XLR, TRS, and other common connector types. A daisy-chain output passes the full input signal and power to the next device in line, allowing multiple Gizmos to be fed from a single node or blade output.
