Audio Processing Innovator Cornelius “Corny” Gould Joins Angry Audio.
Angry Audio, the broadcast “gadgets & gizmos” company in Nashville, Tennessee, welcomes Cornelius Gould to his new role as Audio Processing Architect.
“Anyone who’s ever heard an Omnia.11 with G-Force knows Corny’s work. He’s brilliant!” says Angry Audio founder Michael “Catfish” Dosch. “I asked him to collaborate on a project and we had so much fun that we decided to make it permanent.”
“Angry Audio has a lot of customers working in podcasting and live-audio streaming,” Dosch says. “We love these customers. There’s a lot of interesting new content there. With Corny on board, we have some new product ideas that should be real eye-openers. Or perhaps I should say ‘ear-openers.’”
Of course, broadcasters around the world know Gould for his Omnia.11 work. What they may not realize is that he has been designing, building and tuning audio processing for decades. In fact, he is considered by many to be one of the world’s foremost audio processing authorities. And as a longtime podcaster, Gould has experienced firsthand the similarities and differences between new media and traditional broadcasting.
“When I saw that Catfish was serious about creating products that would help new media content creators, I knew I wanted to be a part of what Angry Audio is doing,” says Cornelius. “We’re already developing several ideas that will help content creators improve their audio. I can’t wait to show them to the world!”
Gould can be reached by emailing Cornelius@AngryAudio.com. For more information about the company, visit www.AngryAudio.com.
